Pad Tai with mild spice was very good. We ordered 3 entrees and did a family style which was the way to go. About $20 per entree but we brought home leftovers. Our server Sirirat was so nice and friendly. Nice comfortable booths and lots of options for seating.

Ta Ra Rin is upscale atmosphere with fancy cocktails, acceptable Thai food and moderate prices. There are cheaper and more authentic Thai places (Little Elephant comes to mind) but this is a nice place to relax, have a fancy drink and a fairly large portion of Thai food. We had the Thai green curry which was tasty enough but a bit heavy on the green pepper which is somewhat off spec for the dish. Grilled beef salad had a generous portion of medium rare and a fair amount of fish sauce. I think it was $18. Not sure how Thai the salad was otherwise - just chopped lettuce. Overall, a decent option and better than most of the Thai places in Eugene or Springfield but at least one star short of authentic flavors.

Great atmosphere and great presentation, however the food wasn't a 5 star quality. The food was good, but there vegetables in there soup isn't the soft melt in your mouth texture that they should be. However if you're in town, come by!

My friend and I were craving Asian food in the area and ended with Thai since we couldn't find much that interest us in the surrounding area. Parking lot is a little strange based on the GPS, since I was going into a few parking lots until I got to their parking lot, but I guess just follow your GPS here and you won't get lost. I didn't get to see much of the inside, but the seats / booths reminds me of like American diner, from the server desk to a few booths down because we got seated near the entrance. But pretty decent Thai food, standard to most places, the portion I thought was pretty big so we ended up with leftovers. We got the green curry with beef, spice level 5 and it had a nice kick to it, wasn't spicy My friend got the pad kee mao mild then asked for chili sauce to put in after so that helped enhance the flavour for her. Our server was very attentive, and nice, she came to us a few times asking if we were okay, etc. Overall, if you're craving Thai and in the area, I think it's good a good spot!

So first off, I honestly thought I'd already written a review for this place, and now I'm a little sad I hadn't. It is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I rarely get to go because the price is slightly above my grab just because I'm hungry price range, but for the nice little atmosphere and the decent portions I make an exception from time to time. I love their signature drinks, and usually the service is on point. This last time... it was so bad we didn't tip. I am an avid tipper, and I can't see paying extra because someone wrote down our order and delivered our food and we never saw them again. For three entrees, two drinks and an appetizer for only two people, you'd think we could get water refills or asked if the food was okay or asked if we wanted another beverage. We even had to wait forever for the bill but wow! They were sure on it once they had payment! But I won't dock a star for that because I've had many good experiences here and I'd like to believe this is a glitch, not the norm. I love the food! I love bringing in people who have never been in to eat the food! The flavor profile is high, if you want it spicy it'll melt your face, and I always go home with leftovers. Is it authentic? No clue, all I know is that the meat is always cooked to perfection, nothing is bland, and if I want a pretty drink, I sure get to have a pretty drink. It's always clean, and they hire the sweetest hosts. It's the opposite of pretentious, you can dress up or down, and if you like who you're sitting with, it's easy to have a conversation while you wait a little for your food. It's not an over long wait so much as it's not fast food, and I appreciate some nice assembly and some time to enjoy it without feeling rushed. Take out is also a great option when you don't feel good and someone who loves you is willing to pick some up. Parking can fill up but turnaround is great and we've never had a problem finding a space.

My wife and I started coming here when for our first date and we have become regular patrons thanks in part to their excellent food and hospitable service and modern ambiance. I highly recommend the Pad See Ew, the Pineapple Curry, and the lemongrass chicken wings. They even allow dogs on their outdoor patio areas which is lovely.
